Lighting

Lighting

Building management system (BMS), the whole system can be monitored and controlled from one or more centres, all retrospective values are recorded and reported, very large systems can be easily controlled with much less technical personnel, and each point can be set separately. The provision of different comfort conditions ensures that measures can be taken by being immediately aware of fault situations.

A building automation (BMS) system includes many systems. These;

  • Lighting Automation,
  • Heating System / Cooling System,
  • Curtain and Shutter System,
  • CCTV,
  • Fire Detection and Extinguishing System,
  • Systems such as Energy Monitoring and Management Systems.

Indoor Lighting

LED luminaire designers work hard to modernize buildings and reduce energy costs. Therefore, in the methods to be applied for energy saving in building interior lighting, it is aimed to use the least amount of energy and to get the most benefit from the consumed energy. Designers make their designs by considering issues such as human-centred lighting and biological clock. Many luminaires in interior lighting are a data collection tool for designers today and are designed with integrated sensors that collect multiple data on them. This provides more energy savings, flexibility, and greater convenience for data collection. In addition, energy efficiency and wide dimming range are still essential in the design.

As Ubi Automation, we design the efficient, functional, human-centred and forward-looking data collection features of indoor lighting by the needs of our customers and make future-oriented projects.

Industrial Lighting

Lighting in industrial areas; is of great importance in terms of quality of production, an increase of employee performance and prevention of occupational accidents. In addition, energy-saving in such structures is also crucial for the economy of the country and the company. In these facilities, daylight should be used as much as possible with natural lighting methods. Illumination of closed places, where we spend most of our lives, is also important for our health. Adequate lighting of workplaces will not only reduce work accidents but also increase productivity. It also protects the health of employees.

It can be seen directly that occupational safety is ensured, production speed is increased, manufacturing errors are visibly reduced, and worker health is protected in facilities where industrial lighting is used. The working condition problems that the employees complain about the most are listed as follows; glare, eyestrain, insufficient lighting, the flickering of light, contrast differences. Therefore, lighting systems for industrial facilities must be specially designed according to the working environment and the nature of the work done.

Lighting is an important cost item for both industrial facilities and businesses. The use of more efficient luminaires, low loss ballasts and lamps with high-efficiency factor is of great importance to provide efficiency and reduce costs in industrial facility lighting.

Tunnel Lighting

Although tunnel lighting is one of the issues that has not been emphasized much until today, it is an issue that is extremely important in terms of driving safety on highways and should be handled meticulously during the design/installation stages.

In parallel with the increase in traffic density, the need for tunnels is increasing rapidly. What is expected from road tunnels is to provide driving safety and comfort, as well as to maximize the driver's visibility on an open and safe road.

A long tunnel, if not well lit, looks like a "Black Hole" to oncoming drivers, especially on sunny days. In order to prevent this situation and increase the driver's vision, it is of great importance to design a powerful lighting system for the entrance area of the tunnel, taking into account the dark adaptation of the eye.
